Pickleball with Purpose 2026

Players of all skill levels came together on Saturday, September 19, 2026, for Pickleball with Purpose, a team pickleball tournament held at the Wentworth Sports Complex in Hamilton in support of the Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton. The event welcomed teams for a day of friendly competition, community spirit, and fundraising.

The tournament featured 25 teams competing across four divisions, with participants matched based on skill level to create an engaging and inclusive experience for everyone involved. With supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators cheering from the sidelines, the event highlighted the power of sport to bring people together for a shared cause.

Beyond the competition, Pickleball with Purpose helped raise awareness of dementia and the importance of supporting people living with dementia and their care partners throughout our community. Funds raised through registration, donations, and sponsorships will support local Alzheimer Society programs and services that provide education, connection, and support to families across the region.
