Our friends at the Alzheimer Society of Ontario have put together an excellent guide available tax credits and benefits for people living with dementia and their care partners!
This guide includes some useful tips about preparing for filing one’s taxes and a list of common credits and benefits outlining what they are, who may be eligible, and how to apply.
While credits specifically for people living with dementia are limited, this guide also includes other credits/benefits that are targeted towards people 65 and over. Each section includes links to their corresponding websites for more information if needed.
