The Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton hosted its first ever Legends Classic Car Show on Saturday September 24th with the help of the Rebels Classic Car Club.

The event was the first in a new annual series that hopes to raise funds, and awareness, of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. The Legends Classic Car Show was hosted at the Hagerty Garage + Social, a private recreation club for auto enthusiasts.

For the duration of the event, the Garage + Social building was open to visitors to experience the rare and exotic cars stored within the facility. Just outside the building, guests could grab a hotdog from Little Lous Hotdog Shack before heading over to the main event.

Across the street, a variety of classic cars from the 1920s to the 1980s filled the front parking lot. Visitors were treated to a rare, up-close view of iconic classics such as the Shelby Cobra and Chevrolet Bel Air, with a playlist of classic tunes playing through the speakers in the background.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Alzheimer Society was able to raise just over $1,200.
